WM. BEEBE DEAD
William Beebe died at his home, corner 16th and South P st. at 9:30 Sunday night. He had been sick abaout three weeks with pneumonia, when death relieved his suffering. He was fifty-two years of age and was a memmbr of the First Ohio heavy artilery, Company G, of the Civil War. He was not a member of the G.A.R., but they and the S. of V. are to attend the funeral in a body. He leaves a wife and many near relatives. His father, who lives at Logansport, arrived yesterday to be at the funeral, which occorred at t o'clock this afternoon, from the family residence. Interment at the city cemetery by J. R. Williams. Mr Beebee served in the Civil War. He was mustered in as a Private in Company G, 1st Ohio Heavy Artillery at the age of 17 on 13 September 1864 and mustered out at Knoxville, TN on 20 June 1865.
