Funeral services for Mrs. Edna Mae Bollinger, widow of Elmer C. Bollinger, who died Saturday in a hospital at New Rochelle, NY, will be conducted at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon from the Voss Mortuary. A Christian Science service will be conducted. Burial in Riverview Cemetery.
Mrs. Bollinger had been ill for some time and her death followed an emergency operation.
Mrs. Bollinger was born in Seymour and before her marriage was Miss Edna Mae Scanlon, daughter of Edward and Mary Kirby Scanlon. She was married to Elmer C. Bollinger April 30, 1899. Mr. Billinger died April 9, 1933.
She was a member of the Mother Church, Christian Science, Boston, and of the Christian Science Church here.Surviving are a son, Elmer E. Bollinger, with whom she made her home, a daughter, Mrs. Lorita B. Meredith, of New York, and two grandchildren, Constance and Conrad Bollinger III. A son Tom C., who was an ensign in the Navy, lost his life April 13, 1943, when his ship was sunk...
