ANDREWS MAN'S BODY FOUND BY FISHERMEN

The body of an Andrews man who had been missing since a boat overturned March 13 was found Friday in Berkeley County.

Donnie Barrineau, 48, drowned after he and another man fell from their fishing boat in the Santee River, Berkeley County Deputy Coroner Bill Salisbury said. He said the death has been ruled accidental.

Barrineau's fishing companion, William Yarborough, also of Andrews, clung to a life preserver and swam to shore after the 14-foot boat overturned about 8 p.m.

The body was found by some fishermen about half a mile downstream from where the boat overturned.

ANDREWS-- Donnie Barrineau, 48, an employee with Mace Mechanical Contractors in Johnsonville, died March 13 in Berkeley County. The funeral will be at 2 p.m Sunday in Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial, dierected by Mayer's Andrews Chapel, will be in the Lambert Family Cemetery.
