|Birth: ||Oct. 31, 1918|
|Death: ||Feb. 6, 1955|
Lester was the son of Dora Nelson Bane (1887-1939) and Myrtle Mae Sample (1887-1957).
He was married at a young age (c1936) to LaVere M. Rogers (c1916-1978). They had two known children, sons Kenneth (1936-1991) and R. R. Bane (living). (LaVere married second, Russell Dawson.)
Lester appears to have married second (after 1950) to Imogene Sechrist. Her first husband was Troy Branson. She is almost certainly the Imogene Bane (1914-1985) buried at Westville Cemetery, Westville, LaPorte Co., Indiana.

A great many thanks to Craig Rohrer for creating Lester Bane's memorial; it provided essential family data and information about his service in the Naval Reserves. Craig's death is a great loss for genealogy; click on his name next to the WWII Service Emblem to see his numerous contributions.
