Obituary of Harvey Sanford Caldwell:

Rensselear --- Harve Caldwell, 67, Rensselear businessman, died in Billings Hospital in Chicago, IL at 11:30 pm Tuesday after a illness of a week. The family home is 179 Sparling Ave., Rensselaer,IN. Born in Carroll County, IN, he lived in Rensselaer most of his life and operated Harve's Recreation Parlor for 25 years. He was a World War 1 veteran and was married to Ada Slusher at Crown Point, Indiana in 1935.

Surviving with the wife are a son James Harvey Caldwell of Rensselaer,and a daughter Shirley McInnes of Ft Sheridan, Illinois. Also surviving are four sisters (Mrs Elmer Morgan of Milford, Delaware, Mrs Elwood Rust of Georgetown, Delaware, Mrs Thelma Negus of Richford, New York, Mrs Alma Glezen of Lisle, New York) and five brothers (Ira Caldwell of Wheatfield, Indiana, Albert Caldwell of Berkshire, New York, Ellis Caldwell of Brookdale, New York, Ray Caldwell of Richmond, New York, and Ralph Caldwell of Newark California). Burial will be in the Weston Cemetery, Rensselaer, Indiana.
