Isabella Frazier Bailey was the daughter of one Baltimore sea captain and the wife of another. Her father, Captain James Frazier, was born in Scotland according to his gravestone. Her mother's name was Caroline. Edwin and Isabella had five known children: Twins, Cassandra and Margaret, a daughter named Elizabeth and two sons, Edwin and James. Their son, Edwin, also became a ship captain. James died as a child, at about age 10. Isabella died at sea.
