He was Born Thursday, January 5, 1933 in Logan Co., Kentucky, and was the son of the late Lucious Hooper and the late Wilma Hooper.
He was the husband of Joyce (Westray) Hooper.
He was retired from ITW and a part time worker at Walmart.
He was a member of Concord Baptist Church where he served as Sunday School Director.
Surviving are sons, Gerry Hooper - (Wife, Susan) of Russellville, KY and Timothy Hooper -(Fiancee, Donna Gossett)of Russellville, KY, daughter, Sharon Pearson - (Husband, Randall) of Russellville, KY, brother, Ronald Hooper of Russellville, KY; 13 grand children; 2 great grand children.
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday at Concord Baptist Church located at 1569 Concord Rd.
