Catherine Anthony was the daughter of Abraham Anthony, Sr. and Elizabeth Hilsinger. Catherine was the family historian. In 1850 she penned "The Descendants of Abraham and Elizabeth Anthony" in the family Bible. When this was passed down to her nephew Charles Anthony, his wife Lena transcribed the document about 1930 and distributed copies to all branches of the family throughout the U.S.
