Henry Dailey died Friday at 10 o'clock of brights disease and pnuemonia at the home of his son Joseph Dailey of Rosean.
Mr Dailey was born in Strasbourg Germany September 16 1843.
and came to America when a child with his parents
The family lived in Peru Indiana, where Mr Dailey grew to manhood. In 1868 he moved to Topeka,and joined a company that was employed by the government for two years to issue rations to the Indians in the Dakotas. the remainder of his was spent in Lyon County.
He was married May 11 1873 to Miss Mallissa Van Gundy, and she with nine children, survive him they are Charles John Frank and Bertha all of Neosho Rapids Mrs Stanley Sedgwick, Reading; Mrs Roy Goff Batavia Iowa; Mrs Ira Gentner Neosho
Rapids, and Joseph Dailey of Rosean, one daughter Mrs Charles Foster died eight years ago,
He also is survived by two sisters Mrs Caroline Ward,and Mrs Jamima Ackerman both of San Antonio Texas.
The funeral will be held Friday at 2:30 o'clock at the Chicago Mound Church. internment will be at the Chicago Mound Cemetery.Name: Henry Dailey
