Landers, a farmer, age 36, born in Arkansas; and his mother, Dora Landers, age 32, born in Arkansas. The census shows that Dora and Matthew had been married for 16 years. Also living with them were Albert's siblings: Gene, age 6; and Homer, age 1 year 4 months; both born in Oklahoma.
The World War I Draft Registration Records show that Albert Landers registered for the draft on June 5, 1918 in Pittsburg County, Oklahoma. He gave his age as 21; his birthdate and place as October 12, 1896 in Eufaula, Oklahoma (Pittsburg County); his current residence as Crowder, Oklahoma; and his father's birthplace as McKinney, Texas.
The 1930 Federal Census for Durant, Oklahoma (Bryan County) shows A. R. Landers, a filling station employee, age 33, born in Oklahoma; and his wife, Girthie, age 30, born in Louisiana. Living with them were two children: Elsie, age 8; and Elmer J., age 1 year 8 months; both born in Oklahoma.
Albert died April 11, 1982 in Fannin County, Texas according to the Texas Death Index. He was buried in Durant, Oklahoma (Bryan County) in the Highland Cemetery.
