The 1940 Federal Census for Calera, Oklahoma (Bryan County) shows Houston Beaubien, age 32, born in Oklahoma; and his wife, Nellie, age 31, born in Arkansas. Living with them were five children: Leon William Beaubien, age 12; Houston Leonard Beaubien, age 10; Vanitia Ann Beaubien, age 6; Harvey Keyon Beaubien, age 3; and Johnny Beaubien, age 1; all born in Oklahoma.
