Mrs. Cecil W. Keller
HALSTEAD - Hazel M. Keller, 70, died Friday, March 1, 1985, at her residence. Born Hazel Baumann Aug. 4, 1914, at Altus, Okla., she married Cecil W. Keller Oct. 30, 1938, at Newton. He died Sept. 24, 1978. She was a retired registered nurse and was a resident of Halstead for 50 years.
She was a member of First Mennonite Church, Friendship EHU, YWCA, Halstead Nurses Alumni Association, and the Cemetery Association, all of Halstead.
Survivors: sons, Jerry J., Halstead, John B., Fort Collins, Colo., Cecil D., 4200 Quivira, Hutchinson; brother, John F. Baumann; sisters, Lela Sherwood, Wichita, Margaret Bates, Headrick, Okla.; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services at 10:30 a.m. at First Mennonite Church, the Rev. John Gaeddert and the Rev. Robert Suderman. Burial at Halstead Cemetery. Friends may call between 2 and 8 p.m. Monday at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead. Memorials to the Mennonite church or the Harvey County Hospice.
