Zella P Humphrey 90, of 501 E. 11th, a resident of Newton since 1913, died Sunday morning, Feb. 20, at Bethel Deaconness Hospital.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Draper-Cannon Chapel with the Rev. Louise McClanahan officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
She was born April 25, 1892, at Saxon Fox Agent, Okla. (S/b Sax & Fox Agency, Indian Territory). The daughter of Golliher and Cora Delia Mann Reed. On May 12, 1914, she married Jesse Robert Humphrey in Newton. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include two sons, Lewis of Newton and Chester of Salem, Ore; one daughter, Betty (Mrs. John) Bond of Newton, 15 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Flossie M. Bender.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 until 9 o'clock tonight, all day Tuesday and until service time Wednesday. A memorial has been established for the Heart Fund. Memorial gifts may be left with the staff at the funeral home.
