The angel of death has again visited our community and this time manifested his cruel presence in the home of County Commissioner and Mrs. W.W. Bush, taking therefrom its fairest flower, little Lottie, the 11 year old daughter.
The child had had an attack of la grippe, but had so far recovered as to be able to attend school, and on Tuesday of last week was appearantly as well and playful as any of her schoolmates, but evidently the exposure brought on a relapse and Wednesday was the last day she was able to attend school, growing worse until Sunday when a physician was called. The advance of the malady continued and the child died at an early hour Monday morning, in spite of all that tender hands or medical skill could do.
The funeral took place Wednesday, at 2:30 p.m., Rev. John H. Hope officiating. A large attendance was at the cemetery, showing the deep sympathy of the community for the bereaved family.
