He was born Feburary 28, 1915 at St. Paul. He attended schools at Halstad and married LaVonne Welsh on March 10, 1940, at Belle Forche, S.D.. He served in teh military from 1944 to 1946. In 1948 he and his family moved to Hanford, Washington and in 1951, they came to Boise, where they have owned and operated the Little Dutch Garden since. He was a member of Foreign Wars, and the Disabled American Veterans.
Surviors include his wife, Boise; a daughter Kitty Viker; and a son, Joseph Cal Viker, both Boise; two grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Ehtel-May Carlson, Moorhead and Mrs. Kity Ann Miller, Dearborn, Mich.; and his mother, Mrs. Ethel Viker, Dearborn.
