Pearl Irene Anderson,88, of Donnelly, died May 27, 2010 at the Stevens Community Medical Center in Morris.
Pearl was born November 18, 1921, in Rendsville Township, daughter of John and Alma (Olson)Henrichs. She was baptized June 2, 1922 in Morris and Confirmed June 11, 1937 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Donnelly. She attended school in District 7 in Stevens County. She was United in marriage to Albert T. Anderson on June 23, 1940. They made their home in Donnelly where Pearl worked for the poultry dressing plant and candeling eggs in the 1950's. She also worked as a waitress in Morris and held a day-care in her home in her later years.
Albert passed away in 1990 and Pearl continued to live in Donnelly until the time of her death.
Pearl was a member of KLCW, a quilting group and a Sunday School teacher at Kongsvinger Lutheran Church. Pearl enjoyed family gatherings, picnics, fishing, playing cards, dancing, cooking and baking, especially Norwegian Sweets.
She was a great storyteller.
Survivors include two daughters, Janice (Dennis) Melchert of Alexandria, and Beverly Hurlbut of Donnelly; eight grandchildren, Kevin (Linda) Melchert of Inver Grove Heights, Michael (Lisa) Melchert of Herman, Jill Gibbs of Plymouth, Kathy (Tom) Brock of Cincinnati, OH, Cory (Kris Gjerset)Hurlbut of Sauk Rapids, Craig Hurlbut of Mesa, AZ, Nicole (Jason) Armstrong of Farwell, and Kirby Hurlbut of Los Angeles, CA;17 great-grandchildren; sister Julette Banister of Donnelly; sisters-in-law Shirley Henrichs of Donnelly, Beverly Henrichs of St. Louis Park, Arlene Henrichs of Hoffman, and Pearl Wilke Anderson of Donnelly; brother-in-law, Lloyd Plocker of Morris; several neices and nephews; her day care children.
Preceding Pearl in death were, her husband, Albert; brothers, Lawrence, Erwin Sr., George, Stanley, Melvin, Marvin and Kenneth Henrichs; sisters, Margaret Mau, Mayme Waller, June Plocker; sisters-in-law, Clara Henrichs, Faith Henrichs, and June Anderson; brothers-in-law, Wilmer Mau, Orville Waller, Bud Banister, Emil Anderson and Lawrence Anderson.
Funeral Service was held June 1, 2010 at the Kongsvinger Lutheran Church in Donnelly.
