BRIDGEWATER -- Beatrice S. Phillips "Aunt Bea," a resident of the NJ Eastern Star Home in Bridgewater, died Saturday (Jan. 14, 2006) at the Somerset Medical Center. She was 91. She was born in Oldwick on Feb. 14, 1914, a daughter of the late Clarence and Minerva Sutton Swick and lived in Tewksbury Township most of her life until moving to Bridgewater four years ago. She was a graduate of the Somerville High School and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Hobart Chapter No. 63 in High Bridge. She was a homemaker. She was predeceased by her first husband, Michael Franklin, and her second husband, Albert Phillips; a sister, Anna Beavers; and a brother, Lester Swick. Her only survivors are nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday in the New Germantown Cemetery, Joliet Street, Oldwick, under the direction of the Coughlin Funeral Home, 15 Academy Street, Califon. from the Courier News website www.c-n.com -------------------------
