A celebration honoring the life of Leora Roberts, age 90 of Littlefield, will be conducted at 10:30 A.M. Monday, December 20, 2010 at Crescent Park Church of Christ in Littlefield with Paul Burton, pastor, officiating, and Barton Spencer assisting. Burial will follow in Littlefield Cemetery with arrangements being entrusted to Hammons Funeral Home of Littlefield.
Mrs. Roberts was born March 11, 1920 at Rochester to King Jackson and Ethel May Pirtle Chaney. She married Aubrey Roberts in Littlefield. Leora worked as a Home Healthcare Provider for several years, and enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling.
She was preceded in death by her husband Aubrey Dec. 22, 1982, a son; Charles Richardson, a daughter Patsy Grant, 2 brothers; Tink Chaney, and Jack Chaney, 3 sisters; Leota McDuff, Ruby Jo Yeary, and her sister, Madge Blackman, who passed away the same day as Mrs. Roberts.
She was a member of Crescent Park Church of Christ in Littlefield.
