Mrs. W.C. Harris
Ballinger (Staff) Services for Mrs. W.C. (Ruby Opal Hennington) Harris were held Tuesday morning in First United Methodist Church with graveside services for 2:30 p.m. in Merkel Cemetery directed by Allen Davis Funeral Home.
Mrs. Harris died Monday morning in Hendrick Memorial Hospital in Abilene after a long illness.
Born March 10, 1913, in Eastland County, she was married to W.C. Harris on June 19, 1940, in Merkel. The couple had lived in Ballinger since 1950.
Survivors include her husband; her mother, Mrs. Winnie Hennington of Cisco; two sons, Howard W. Robinson of Longview and Lige F. Harris of Ballinger; two sisters, Mrs. Melva Glen Vellers of Odessa and Mrs. U.L. Kingsbury of Gustine, and three grandchildren.
