YORKTOWN- Funeral services for John T. Gage, 60, of Dandy Loop Road, Yorktown, who died Sunday at home, will be conducted at 3p.m. today in Amory Funeral Home chapel, Grafton, by the Reverend Ed Hampton, pastor of Dandy Baptist Church.
A lifelong resident of York County, he was a member of York River Presbyterian Church, Camp Perry, and was a veteran of World War II. He planted and worked oyster beds independently.
Survivors include two brothers, Ernest O. Gage of Hampton and Sidney Gage of Williamsburg, and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Owens of Dandy and Mrs. Florence Grubb of Newport News.
Burial will be in York River Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mark W. Owens, W.E. Gage, E.O. Gage,Jr., James W. Grubb, Phillip F. Gage and Frank Grubb.
