Jean was born April 25, 1926, in Rockwood, Texas, to Allie Martin Gilbreth and Lonnie Gilbreth. She married Marvin Butler in 1943 and had her first child, Marion. Later with her husband, Les Robinson, she was blessed with a second child, Randy. She later became a homemaker, dedicating her life to heading up the special and unique family she created. Later she went back to work; most recently at Ballinger Memorial Hospital and at IGA before falling ill. She was a Baptist and was a member of the VFW auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husbands; her parents; her brother, Norman Gilbreth; a son-in-law, John Conaway; a granddaughter, Leslie Conaway; and great-grandchild John Joseph. Survivors include her three children, Marion Conaway of Norton, Randy Robinson of Lewisville, Texas, and Dr. Kimberly Kjome of Houston, Texas; her two grandchildren, John Conaway of Odessa and Cassie Conaway of Norton; three great-grandchildren, James, Charlynn and Allie; two sisters, Lois Hubbert and Bert Middleton of Ballinger. In addition, she is survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Finally, she is survived by many friends, including one very special friend, Suzie Leady. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 30, at Lange Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, March 31, in the chapel of Lange Funeral Home, officiated by the Rev. Debra Johnson, a member of her family. Pallbearers are to be John Conaway, John Lockhart, Marcus Johnson, Jeremy Blackmon, Jason Crenshaw, and James Pechal. Her family would like to thank all of the people who helped her in her greatest need, including Ballinger Home Health, Inc., especially Cindy Hord LVN , Hospice of San Angelo, Dr. Mohamad Ayass and Dr. Karen Rightmire.
