The five children of "Ida" and Ellis, were Paul Edward, Mary Elizabeth, Irene Ellene, and Katherine Kateria. Katherine Kateria Barber passed away at a young age of 27 years old as of heart problems. Ida and Ellis also had an infant girl born and died, in Burke County, N.C., on July 25, 1926. The Infant Girl only lived three hours.
On June 12, 1981, Marion, McDowell County, N.C., Minnie Ida Cuthbertson Barber, a widow, died at the age of 75. She would have had her 76th birthday the next day, the 13th of June 1981.
