Jack "Snake" Breeden, 88, passed away peacefully April 27, 2007. He was a Naples resident for over 56 years, one of the real old-timers. He was born July 18, 1918 in Arlington, VA. Jack served his country during WW II in the U. S. Navy. He was a First Class Torpedoman aboard the U.S.S. Philip. He was an avid golfer and loved woodworking, his Christmas Grinch was famous on 10th Avenue South. His favorite past-time was cruising in his Tin Lizzy, letting tourists take pictures in front of Sunshine. He never missed driving her in a parade. Jack was a loving, caring person who would go out of his way to help someone, there was never a problem too big. Jack is survived by his two children, Cap Breeden and Karah "Doo" Breeden; two grandchildren, Tait Dunford and Todd Combs; two great-grandchildren, Tryston and Teagan Dunford. Also surviving are his brother, Dan Breeden; many nieces and nephews; and many, many good friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirley Gibson Breeden.
