Laura Elizabeth Hale, 80, died Dec. 30, 1990, at Carmen Home. Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Monday at Fisher Funeral Home with the Rev. J.M. Lemmon, Carmen, officiating.
She was born July 14, 1910, in Oklahoma to A.B. and Dora Highfill. In 1936, she married Ralph H. Hale in Sedan, Kan. She was a retired school teacher and had lived in the Carmen area most of her life. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Carmen, teachers association and Northwestern Oklahoma State Alumni Association.
Surviving are two sons, A.B. of Doniphan, Mo., and James N. of Phoenix, Ariz.; one daughter, Kay Pfleider of Alva; one brother, John Highfill of Cherokee; one sister, Erma Price of Tuttle; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband on April 8, 1989.
Memorials may be made to the Carmen Home through the funeral home.
