Paige Yeomans Arnold , 8, of 8386 Benchmark Road, Baldwinsville, died Thursday at Children's Hospital in Boston of complications from a bone marrow transplant she had undergone to treat leukemia.
Paige was to enter the third grade next month at Palmer Elementary School. While she was a student there, she was recognized for artistic and scholastic achievements. Paige was a member of Christ Community United Methodist Church and sang its children's choir. She took dancing lessons for four years at the Veronica School of Dance in North Syracuse and was a member of Brownie Troop 20 of Baldwinsville.
Surviving are her parents, Chris Arnold and Ellen Yeomans; a sister, Alexandra, at home; her maternal grandparents, Brad and Georgia Yeomans of North Syracuse ; her paternal grandparents, Roger and Audrey Arnold of Liverpool; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Christ Community United Methodist Church. Burial arrangements are incomplete.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Monday at Maurer Funeral Home, 3541 Route 31, Moyers Corners.
Contributions may be made to the Central New York Chapter of the Leukemia Society of America or the Ronald McDonald House of Central New York.
