DIED IN SLEEP - HENRY CAMPBELL, ARCADIA, PASSED AWAY LAST NIGHT - Henry Campbell, resident of Arcadia for the past sever years, and a former resident of this county, died quietly last night at 9:30 o'clock in his sleep. A severe heart attack occurred after he and his wife had retired and when she was aroused by his loud breathing she thought for a few moments he was having a dream, but was horrified to find he was passing away. He died before she could leave the bed and call for assistance. Mr. Campbell had not been in ill health and early last evening had visited downtown in Arcadia. He had worked part of the day in Bob Bell's poolroom. The heart attack came without warning and the man apparently died with out suffering. The deceased was born at Jackson Station, in this county, on January 3, 1859, his parents being Mr. and Mrs. George Campbell, pioneers. On February 28, 1879 he was married to Samantha Fox and for years they resided in the Ekin community. Seven years ago they moved to Arcadia. Two children were born to the couple but they died in infancy. Surviving are the widow and one sister, Mrs. Anna Cooley of Spokane, Washington. No funeral arrangements have been made.
