Deaths - Bucklew - Mrs. Nan E. Bucklew, 86, died August 6, 1974 at the Miami County Hospital where she had been a patient for several weeks. Prior to that time she had been at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Bill Hinman, in Paola. The oldest daughter of John B. and Minnie Skeens, she was born in Paola on October 29, 1887 and had spent most of her life in Paola. She was married on December 3, 1913 to John H. Bucklew and they lived on a farm in the Eden Chapel Community. Mrs. Bucklew was a long-time member of the Eden Chapel Ladies Aid. She is survived by her husband, John H. Bucklew of Paola; a son, Floyd William Bucklew, R1, Paola; three daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth James, Ottawa, Miss Minnie Doris Bucklew and Mrs. Ruth Lavern Hinman, both of Paola; two brothers, Calvin Skeens, Paola, and John Skeens, Grandview, Mo.; a sister, Mrs. Emma Hawley, Salem, Ill.; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Two brothers and three sisters preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Wilson and Son Chapel. Donald R. James, Dennis L. Hinman, John E. Bucklew, Bob L.
