Sr. Geraldine entered the Institute Of Religious Teachers Filippini in July 16,1936. She received the habit June 10, 1939.She made her Oblation on August 23, 1942. She earned a BS degree From St. Peters College in 1999 Sr. taught second, third, fourth, sixth grade students for 10 years and seventh an eigth grade students for 21 years, well loved and highly regarded by her students and all who knew her. Although handicapped by blindness, she was an excellent teacher. She co-authored two books on the life of St.Lucy Filippini. Sr. authored a series of work books on composition which were used extensively in the Communities elementry schools. Sr. taught for 21 years at St. Marys of Mount Virgin School in New Brunswick NJ. From 1970 to 1974, Sr. resided at Assumption Convent, Bayonne, NJ at Sacred Heart Convent, Clifton, NJ and at Villa Walsh, Morristown. For 33 years, Sr. was Coordinator and Spiritual Adviser at the Morning Star House of Prayer in Trenton,formerly
Monmouth Beach, NJ. She was spiritual director, gave retreats, lectures, and was very instrumental in the organization and formation of the Associates of St. Lucy Filippini. After several periods of serious illness, Sister Geraldine was called home by God.
She was a faithful daughter of St. Lucy Filippini.
