KOSCIUSKO~~~Woodrow Cox, 92, died May 5, 2011. Services are Saturday at 11 a.m. at Artesia Baptist Church with the Revs. Jeff Morgan and Ben Yarber officiating. Burial will follow at Artesia Cemetery. Visitation is one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mr. Cox drove for the Gulf Transport Bus line and then owned and operated Sessums Grocery. He was a member of Artesia Baptist Church, a World War II Army veteran, where he received the purple heart. He was a member Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and York Rite Mason.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Milton Cox and Sally Lynn Walker; wife, Margie Ellzey Cox; sister, Jeanette Cox Howard; brother, Robert Henry Cox; and twin brother, Wilson Cox.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Artesia Baptist Church, P. O. Box 217, Artesia, MS 39736, or to charity of donor's choice.
