Mr. Ballew was engaged in testile work and had lived in the Woods Lake section for at least six years. He was the son of the late George W. and Harriett Ballew and was born and reared in Habersham County, Ga.
He was a member of Eastlan Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Emma Timms Ballew; two daughters, Mrs. Geneva Price and Mrs Jeanette Gillespie; five sons, Clinton M., Claude, Harold, Woodrow and Sgt Fred Ballew; two brothers, George W. and Ben Ballew; and six grandchildren.
The body will be carried to the residence at 3 o'clock this afternoon. Further announcements will be made by R. D. Jones & Sons.
