Born Adolph Bresciano in Italy, he began wrestling in Montreal in 1970, taking the name "Dino Bravo" from a wrestler from the early 1960s. By the late 1970s, he become a big enough draw to get a singles match with Gene Kiniski and in December 1978, he defeated him to win the new Canadian Heavyweight Title. Also in 1978, with partner Dominic DeNucci, Bravo captured the WWF World Tag Team Title. Through the 1980s, he was a popular figure both as a single and tag team wrestler in various WWF international matches. After an active competition following a tour in Europe in April 1992, he retired and he helped train wrestlers in Montreal. He was found shot to death in his apartment in Quebec Canada, at age 44.
