NEW PLYMOUTH -- Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in New Plymouth for Mrs Hattie Alice Alsop, 60, who died Sunday in a Caldwell hospital.

Pastor J. D. Nichols of the Adventist Church officiated and interment was at Emmett under direction of the Payette Chapel of the Roses.

Mrs Alsop was born Feb 7, 1911 at Caldwell. She had lived in Payette County for 34 years, coming here from Letha. She was married Oct 3, 1937 to Merl Alsop in Payette.

She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

She is survived by her husband in New Plymouth; a son, Roy G Alsop, Vale; two daughters, Mrs Loren (Jackie) Grout, Boise, and Mrs Bill (Mary) Watkins, Little Willow; two brothers, Charles Smith, Caldwell, and Joe Smith, Emmett; two sisters, Clarabelle Rogers, Emmett, and Mary Boren, Boise; and 16 grandchildren.
