Carl Etheridge dies; Services set Wednesday Carl L. Etheridge of 1101 N. Chalmers died at 10:20 a.m. Monday in Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Born Oct. 15, 1888 in Paris, Tenn., Etheridge came to Jackson county in 1920. He was married to Margaret Elizabeth Jumper on Sept. 4,1909. He was a member of First Christian Church and the Masonic lodge and was a 32nd degree Mason. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Tims Chapel of Memories with Rev. C. L. Abercrombie officiating. Masonic graveside rites will be held in the Restlawn Cemetery. Burial will be under the direction Tims Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife of the home; three sons, Neal of Altus, Howard of Memphis, Tenn. and Vincent of Bronco, Tx; a daughter, Mrs. Maureen Ellis of Cheyenne, Wyo, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
