The family was living in Dallas, Iowa in 1900 and George was employed as a census enumerator and real estate agent. By 1910 they were living in Platte, Iowa and George was working as a letter carrier. By 1915 Kittie and George were divorced and George was living in Lenox, Iowa, still employed as a mail carrier. By 1920 George and his children had all moved to Bonneville County, Idaho. In 1930 George was still working, as a salesman.
He had requested that he be buried in Iowa next to his first wife Nellie.
