|Birth: ||Mar. 4, 1842|
I believe him to be the son of Dickerson Parker and Lucinda Eaton Parker. He signed up for the Confederacy on 03-06-1862 as a private, in Palestine, Texas
age 19. That would make his birth around 1843.
Taken prisoner, listed as a POW, and released after the war
in New Orleans, probably prisoner exchange. May 26, 1865.
lst Lieut.Co. K 22 Tex Inf. CSA
I found out he is a brother to Johnny (Cornbread) and Ira Parker. John came back to Texas and is buried here.
Ira was in a battle, and died later there.
