Bill married Dorothy Mae Watkins on May 18, 1937 in Bartlesville, Washington County, Oklahoma. Their son, Charles Eugene Anderson, was born in 1941. They resided in Copan, Oklahoma, where they ran a dairy farm. In later years, Bill drove a school bus for the Copan School system.
Willie Claude "Bill" Anderson died on March 29, 1996 in Dewey, Washington County, Oklahoma, at the age of 88 years 2 months. Funeral Services were directed by Stumpff Funeral Home, Bartlesville, Oklahoma with burial on March 31, 1996 at the Dewey Cemetery, Dewey, Washington County, Oklahoma.
