Robert W. "Bob" Sherwood, 88, of Fayetteville and Lady Lake, FL, passed away Thursday after a brief illness at St. Joseph's Hospital, with his loving family by his side. Robert was a floor inspector and union steward with Accurate Die Casting. He enjoyed farming on the family dairy farm. Bob loved and enjoyed spending time his family and grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Jean Mary D'Arrigo; two granddaughters, Deby Jean D'Arrigo and Erin Kathryn Foley; three sisters; and a brother. Survivors: his companion, Sally Townsend; three daughters, Jane Dunaway of St. Petersburg, FL, Joan (Mahlon) Moon of Brooksville, FL, and Elaine (Bill) Foley of East Syracuse; two sons, Richard Sherwood of Auburn and Paul (Patti) Sherwood of Minoa; 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Eaton-Tubbs-Schepp Funeral Home. Burial to follow in Fayetteville Cemetery. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, 7191 E.
