Birth: Mar. 26, 1975
Saline County
Illinois, USA
Death: May 30, 2008, USA

In loving memory of Todd Stanley Barger, born March 26, 1975, who passed away May 30, 2008.
Todd was also known as "Honest Barger" for the fact that he could not tell a lie, no matter what the consequence. He was a coal miner most of his life. What he did, he did well and was respected by all that worked with him or for him.
He was closest to his brother, Chad Pittman, who helped raise him and developed a bond that will never be broken, even through death. Todd was an old soul for his 33 years. He lived and experienced many things in his short life, but he always believed in using those experiences to pave the way for the future, and to help guide others along the way that may be struggling.
He will be sadly missed by his fiancee, Elizabeth Bebout, with whom he spent the last three years of his life, along with her children, Lindsey, Adrianne and Amy. He has left his irremovable mark on their lives trying to guide them by his past experiences, good and bad. His daughter, Sonny Barger, resides in Springfield, whom he adored and prayed for a reunion with.
He enjoyed music and spending time with friends and family more than anything. He also loved fishing with his brother and being outdoors. He could spend hours talking and going over old and creating new memories with his best buds, Trae "Buck" and Skip. He respected his aunt, MaryLee, more than most as she offered unconditional love, which he truly recognized.
He was preceded in death by his father, Sonny Barger, whom he loved without question.
He is survived by his loving mother, Cinda (Pittman) Barger, who gave him his gentle, loving and easygoing attitude; his brother, Chad (Amanda) Pittman, who he loved and respected and most of all wanted to please and make proud of him. He is survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and a multitude of friends that have all been touched by his generosity and kindness.
Services will be held at Cox and Son Funeral Home in Ridgway from 5 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2008, and a graveside service will follow at Hogan Cemetery in Shawneetown.
