Funeral services for Aileen Avalette Dever, 75, of Halfway, Mo., formerly of Walnut Shade, will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, August 2, 2002 in Forsyth Whelchel Chapel.
Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
Mrs. Dever died July 30, 2002 in her residence. Aileen Avalette Dever was born November 11, 1926 in Gracemont, Okla., the daughter of James and Carrie Jane (Stout) Hefflin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd Dever; her parents, James and Carrie Hefflin; three sisters, Becky, Frances and Tiny; and three children, John, Elizabeth and Martha.
She is survived by seven children, Lucy Wade of Arizona, Lorene English of Ashflat, Ark., Joe Dever of Jonesboro, Ark., Susan Griffin of Jonesboro, Ark., Della White of Mississippi, Barbara White of Tennessee, and Rose Baker of Halfway, Mo. She has 26 grandchildren and 27 greatgrandchildren.
