Funeral services for Mrs. Anna (Weaver) Bachman, 77, lifelong Niles Resident will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Pifer Funeral Home. The Rev. Harold W. Hohman, pastor of the St. John's Evangelical and Reformed Church, will officiate and burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery. Friends are being received at the funeral home.

Mrs. Bachman died at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Nelson Shattuck, rural route five. She was born August 30, 1871 in Niles, and had spent her entire life here. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Asa Durren of Three Rivers; Mrs. C.F. Fisher and Mrs. Shattuck, both of Niles; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Fred Freeland, Kalamazoo. Her husband Arthur died in 1937.

All members of St. John's Women's Guild of St. John's Evangetical and Reformed Church are requested to meet in a body at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday in the Pifer Funeral Home to attend the funeral of their honorary member, Mrs. Bachman.
