Maggie Carrie Burum, 45, of Columbia, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2010 at the Maury Regional Medical Center.
Maggie was born April 26, 1965 in Oak Ridge, the daughter of the late Thomas H. Burum Sr., and Maggie Maxwell. Her special parents were David and Hattie Washington, who are both deceased.
Maggie is also preceded in death by brothers, Jerry Washington, Jessie Kelly and his wife Lola and Marvin Burum.
She leaves to mourn two sisters, Kathy (Bill) Strickland and Mary Ann Booker;
Three brothers, Kelly King, Thomas Burum Jr., and Harry Burum and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous loving and caring assisted living staff.
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 28, 2010 from 12:00-1:00pm at Oak Valley Baptist Church. The funeral will begin at 1pm with Rev. Hardil Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Memorial Park.
