ETHEL DARE BLACKERBY, 73, of 516 Elm, died at her home today following an apparent heart attack.
Mrs. Blackerby was born July 12, 1893 in Russellville, Ark., and moved to Duncan in 1904. She was married to Robert E. Blackerby on June 4, 1917 in Loco.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Mahotah Conley, Moore, and Mrs. Mildred Coleman, New Orleans; a son, George, 903 Cherry; two brothers, Ernest Dare, Comanche, and Haskell Dare, 216 Walnut; two sisters, Mrs. Jewell Pollard, Guymon, and Miss Wilma Dare, Comanche; and six grandchildren.
Funeral will be at the Grantham Funeral Home Chapel, Saturday at 10 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Richard Gibbons, pastor of the First Methodist Church. Burial will be in Duncan Cemetery under the direction of Grantham Funeral Home.
