Patty Bell (named listed as Hattie in "The Settlement and Story of Oakham, Mass. Vol. II, Pg. 421-422) was the daughter of John Bell, third son of James and Martha (Crawford) Bell, b. 1754.
John Bell was a Revolutionary Soldier; he married Hannah White of Western (now Warren), Worcester, Massachusetts.

John Bell's house is in the Town Records for 1780. He removed to Murrayfield (now Chester), Hampden, Massachusetts, and in the 1790 census of Chester, his family consisted of seven members.
John Bell died at Chester, Hampden, Massachusetts on March 14, 1808 at age 54; buried at Chester Center Cemetery, Chester, Hampden, Massachusetts.
