Son of Lewis E. and Ellen Viola Moser. Brother of Keller Hiram Moser, Lloyd R. Moser, Violet M. Moser, Martha Nomi Kunkle, Lydia Toms and Marshall Isaac Moser. Half-brother of Frank Hays, Fern Clara Fox, Samuel Benjamin Dunkin and Lillian M. Seals.

Published in Frederick, Maryland, in The Frederick Post on 16 May 1952 and The Semi-Weekly News on 20 May 1952:
George G. Moser, a veteran of World War I, died at his home near Foxville, Thursday afternoon, aged 58 years. He was a son of Mrs. Viola Moser Duncan and the late Lewis Moser.
Surviving besides his mother, are these brothers and sisters, Keller Moser, Thurmont; Marshall Moser, Sabillasville, Mrs. Francis Kunkle, Hagerstown; Mrs. Chester Toms, Pecatonica, Ill.; also half-brothers and half-sisters, Mrs. John Fox, Sabillasville; Mrs. Charles Seals, Baltimore; Samuel Duncan, Highfield.
Remains rest at the funeral home in Thurmont until Sunday afternoon when they will be taken to Mt. Bethel Methodist church, near Foxville for final services there. 2:30 p.m. Interment in adjoining cemetery. M. L. Creager and Son, funeral director.

The funeral of Geoge G. Moser, who died last Thursday at Foxville took place Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at Mt. Bethel Methodist church, Foxville, conducted by Rev. O. T. Carroll. Services were largely attended and there were many floral tributes.
The church choir sang, "Goodbye Down Here But Good Morning Up There" and "Rock of Ages." Full military honors were paid at the graveside by members of Edwin C. Creeger, Jr. Post, American Legion of Thurmont. Members of the firing squad, under command of Lennis Pittinger, were Robert Fink, Leonard Fogle, Roy Bundy, Lawrence Harne, William Snook, Clifford Claybaugh, Elwood Riffle. Color bearers were Albert Riffle, Jr., and F. X. Falbey, and members of the color guard were Albert and Merhl Ecker. Taps were sounded by Bugler Eddie Hobbs.
Pallbearers were M. J. Albaugh, Kenneth Leatherman, Ralph Scruton, Samuel Reed, Kent Greenawait, Harry Toms.
Interment was made in the church cemetery. M. L. Creager and Son, funeral directors.
