On Good Friday Eve the 2nd day of April, 1915, near Dallas, Oregon, Mr. & Mrs. Abe Voth announced the engagement of their daughter Katherine Ella to Raymond L Turrell, engaged January 17, 1915.
A number of people were present. Many games were played, and from 11 to 12 PM refreshments were served, consisting of cake, fruit salad and cocoa. The bride-to-be was dressed in pink princess silk, trimmed in lace and black velvet ribbon, wearing black silk stockings and velvet slippers.
