BALDWYN - Robert "Red" Adams, 74, died Monday, July 17, 2001, at his residence after an extended illness. He was a retired employee of Daybrite Industries with 32 years of service. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Baldwyn and an Army veteran of World War. He enjoyed playing bluegrass music.
Services will be 4 p.m. today at the First Christian Church of Baldwyn with Bro. Joe Caraway officiating. Burial will be in the Prentiss Memorial Gardens. Waters Funeral Home of Baldwyn is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Adams, of Baldwyn; one stepson, Kenneth Lauderdale, and his wife, Dons, of Kansas City, Mo.; three sisters, Lois Crabb of Saltillo, Ruby Prentice of Baldwyn and Lucille Barrett of Guntown; one brother, R. B. Adams of Nettleton; and two grandchildren, Christina and Stacy Lauderdale.
