Ruby Inez Beal, 91 of Arab died Saturday, May 12, 2012 in Marshall Manor Nursing Home, Guntersville.
Mrs. Beal was born August 19, 1920 in Morgan County, the daughter of Silas Jefferson Smallwood and Maude Ione Hall Smallwood. She was a Homemaker and a faithful member of Gilliam Springs Baptist Church. She was a lifetime resident of the Arab area and enjoyed cooking, gardening and talking with friends and relatives.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law: Wayne and Sue Beal of Arab; granddaughter and spouse: Terri and Benji Spann of Arab and a sister and brother-in-law: Ruth and Doc Ralph of Arab; Preceded in death by her husband: Marvin Beal (Nov 23, 2009), a granddaughter: Cinda Beal, her parents: Silas and Maude Smallwood, brothers: Rodney Smallwood, Cecil Smallwood, Carl Smallwood, Fred "Shine" Smallwood and a sister: Louise Christian.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 14, 2012 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, Brother Kenneth Smith and Brother Randy Blakely, officiating. Burial will be in Gilliam Springs Cemetery, Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Marty Beal, Randy Cantrell, David Chastain, Archie Johnson, Bucky Rowe and Vaughn Warren.
