Betty was the daughter of George and Kathryn Cartwright Lawhon. Her father died when she was approximately 5 yrs of age. Her mother remarried Issac Casey McCarter. Betty had two younger brothers, Robert Wayne Lawhon and William Casey McCarter and three half sisters, Anita Lawhon Rust, Loretta Lawhon Cobb, and Rable Lawhon Cobb.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Jordan, her parents, and a son. She and Earnest had three children, Larry, Cindy, and Timmy. Timmy drowned at the age of three in Grapevine, Tx.
Betty was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother.
