Katherine married Harris Peter Brimhall on Nov 12, 1906 in Salt Lake City, Utah, they later divorced. They had three sons Eldrid Harris, Wilbur Max, and Arden Basil, along with two girls. Katie also married and had children with her other two husbands by the last name Huested and Fait.
She is the daughter of Richard Henry Gough and Martha Ellen Stewart Gough. She was a sister to five brothers Richard Henry, Frank, James L. and William Ray, and Roy Gough, along with five sisters Genevieve who died of accidental poisoning in 1927, Mattie, and Naomi Gough, Gladys Hales, and Addie Burton.
