Born in New Haven, Connecticut on 14 February 1951. His hometown Groton Long Point, Connecticut. Entered the Naval Aviation Officer Candidate School in October 1974 and was commissioned an Ensign in the U.S. Naval Reserve on 14 February 1975. LTJG Eastwood was designated as a Naval Flight Officer on 5 December 1975. He arrived at Fleet Air Reconnaissance Squardron THREE for duty in a flying status involving operational or training flights on 3 June 1976. Survived by his parents Mr and Mrs William Manley Eastwood IV
